Adedapo Adegboye Adeyoyin
(Managing Director)

Dapo Adeyoyin graduated from University of Lagos, Nigeria with a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Economics and immediately commenced a very successful career in Mobil Oil Nigeria, Downstream ExxonMobil in 1999.  Dapo would later proceed to acquire a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in entrepreneurship and strategy from the Ogun State University in Nigeria. In December 2014, he resigned his appointment in ExxonMobil after 15 meritorious years of service and proceed to take up a senior management role in GigaGas Ltd. an indigenous Gas to Power Company. He was the General Manager Administration and ‘team lead’. In November 2022, Dapo started his own Energy transaction, advisory and consulting service business.

 Ezekiel Akem
(Director Finance)

Ezekiel Akem is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada. As the Chief Financial Officer, Ezekiel is supporting Demu Energy Limited in the fields of asset acquisition, financing, and joint venture initiatives. He has strong connections in the energy, mining, and technology sectors. He always seeks win-win deals and opportunities that generate great financial returns for investors. 

Marino Nsue Ocara Mifumu

 

Xolile Siphinhlanhla Thabethe
(Representative South Africa)

Xolile graduated in 2017 from the University of Cape Town with a Higher National Diploma in business administration, which provided her a strong foundation in project management. She has worked at various companies, including Birthmark Capital, Real Thoughts Trading, and Discovery. She is currently a baord member at UK Margin Investments in England, where she oversees strategic planning, financial analysis, and stakeholder management for the South African market.

Wemimo Okupe
(Non-Executive-Director)

Wemimo Okupe, a Nigerian citizen, studied finance at the University of Washington. He is a seasoned risk and finance consultant of high repute and integrity with over 30 years of experience in structuring investments in Nigeria. He advises public and private entities on mitigating risks in the hostile Sub-Saharan business environment.

Abiodun Shode
(Non-Executive-Director)

Abiodun Shode holds a BSc in Accounting from OAU, Ile-Ife and an MBA in Financial Management from Lagos State University. He is a Certified Pension Practitioner and executive director at Veritas Glanvills Pensions, where he is responsible for Investments, Benefits Administration, Contribution Processing/Reconciliation, Transfer Window operations, and Information & Communications Technology (ICT). Prior to his appointment as executive director of Veritas, Abiodun had put in over 25 years in the banking industry with hands-on experience in internal control, investigation & audit, retail banking, consumer banking, commercial banking, corporate banking, and structured business/finance.

Ullrich Afini-Awani
(Non-Executive-Director)

Ullrich Afini-Awani is a German lawyer by training with German/Nigerian nationality. He is born in Lagos/Nigeria, attended a German boarding school, studied law at the University of Heidelberg, trained as a clerk for judicial appointment at a German district court and was called to the bar of Frankfurt as a fully qualified lawyer thereafter. He returned to Nigeria in 1999, where he started managing investment projects. Ullrich Afini-Awani carries the organizational risk of the unincorporated Awani & Partners Limited Partnership as a private individual for all investment projects promoted through the Awani & Partners Private Equity Platform, which includes GCI E&P Limited.
